Description
In light of the tragic suicide of Robin Williams, I feel it's important to share this. Mental illness is a cruel mistress. It can make you feel alone in a room full of loved ones. Tear at you through sleepless nights. Drain you of all words, energy and happiness at the drop of a hat. Shatter your only good thoughts to a fine dust, impossible to pick back up. But, you're not alone, in that room full of people you are loved, appreciated and thought of. The sleep that evades you is just around the corner. That energy can resurface, those lost words can be retreived. Those powdered thoughts can be stewed into a wondouros new dish. You can make it through, there is help. Trust me, I've struggled with mental illness for as long as I can remember. I've felt all those things and worse at times. Recently I have reached a new light, a new zen in my rough flow. Happiness in the darkest of time, my shining light. After years of struggling, and I'm sure that mountain of pain and suffering will never stop, but I am tough and have conquered those bumps on my ascent. There is love and happiness in my heart, and if you are struggling as well, there can be in yours too. Never give in to those feelings of helplessness, there is always, always help. If you are feeling suicidal, please call this number, there are great people just a phone call away. 1-800-273-TALKI wish you all the light in the darkest of times, never lose sight of it
