This is a painting of my pal Jacqui as 'The world'. It's the strat of a series of paintings I'm doing inspired by the Tarot. I'm aware how incredibly clichéd it is, but I was short on ideas and it seemed cool. Sue me.
Anyhow, I'm pretty happy with this one, despite my reservations about putting the rainbow in at all. I think it dominates the painting a bit....plus, you know, making poor Jacqui much uglier than she is in real life, naturally.
