That's the thing about Mad Max I love so much. It has soooo many iconic looking characters. It's impossible for me to watch it and NOT be influenced by it.

I don't know why I like this type of character so much, but it definitely ranks in my top 5 of character types.

My number one rule for hands is to keep it simple. I believe there are three ways I like to draw hands (this applies to feet as well).

1) I draw a circle for the palm, then I use stick fingers as a placeholder. From there I draw a loop around the stick fingers.
2) Start with a simple shape/loop, then draw several lines to indicate the fingers. And that's it. (That's how I drew this girl's feet)
3) Finally, the simplest way (and probably my favorite method), just keep looping. It's very similar to a cursive 'm'. Basically, as long as you can tell it is a hand, that's good enough.

Thank you! I always try to push a character's expressions. I love it when expressions tell you everything you need to know about a character without any words.

Whenever I see a fantasy humans always seem to be the dominate race. I thought it would be fun to have the humans a more feral, animal-like creature so the other races would stand out more. As for this kid, I'll admit, I do not have a story for her. I can see her as just a companion. She sees someone, she follows them. Perhaps she can slowly begin to learn/talk the more she is with someone.
