Species: Carchapierna

Body: Quadrupedal shark

Home Planet: Gilli-Perambulous Promenade

Prey: Ickthyperambuloid (Walkatrout's species)

Powers/Abilities: One main advantage Land Shark has over its prey is its size, being about three times as big as the largest Ickthyperambuloid; in addition to this, they are just as amphibious as their prey, allowing them to effortlessly hunt them on land and through the water, using their power tails and webbed feet to quickly capture their prey. In addition to being as adaptive as Ickthyperambuloids they hunt, Carchapiernas hunt in packs of about ten to twenty individuals consisting of a single male and several breeding females and pups; having evolved to work together to hunt their prey, Land Shark possesses a bioluminescence tail that it flashes in a seemingly random pattern that confuses their prey. Really though, its a way for the pack to effortlessly and fluidly surround their prey and pack them together into a tight ball, keeping them at the center of the circle before each member of the pack dives in and snaps up an unlucky Ickthyperambuloid until the pack has had their fill. This hunting technique is effective both on land and water, meaning Walkatrout has yet to figure out a way around such tactics.

Weakness: Having a sensitive sense of smell and sensory ability similar to that of Earth's sharks, Carchapierna is vulnerable to large amounts of electricity that numb their senses and make them nearly blind, in a sense. Over heating is another way to weaken them as they have rather soft, wet skin that dries out rather quickly if they are not in a moist environment or near a source of water.

Trivia: Land Shark's specie's name derives from the scientific name for the Great White Shark, 'Carchardon', and the Spanish word for leg, 'pierna'.

Their social structure is similar to that of lions with their hunting behavior akin to that of dolphins, wolves, and Humboldt Squid.
