You did a good job of making her look feminine but also like she can kick your ass without much effort at all. Nice!

It's probably because she's seen her newest costume in DCnU.

Amen to that. The good news is that, like the last two attempts to put her in an uninspired bodysuit - instead of one of the more recognizable, iconic costumes - this one will probably be mercifully short.

I don't know. DC seems to be dead set on desexifying their female characters in the name of PC bullshit.

It makes a lot a people sick. But it's clear at this point DC doesn't care about it's readers. Marvel's not much better. Which is why I went and made my own superhero universe wher the women can still be kick ass and sexy and no executive meddling crap is gonna ruin everything.

David Willis made an interesting observation, regarding the Starfire "outrage." He said that any girl who was brought up on CN's "Teen Titans" recognizes Starfire as this saccharin sweet, innocent, friendship-is-everything character. When this girl later makes the jump to print comics, the Starfire they see in the "New 52" is the polar opposite of the character they loved, and worse, seems to be pandering to the lowest common denominator.
Now, I can look at the new Starfire, and the first thing that springs to my mind is that, as a warrior from a warrior culture (like Japan), as opposed to a culture founded on conservative religious beliefs (such as America), I can see the character legitimately having no taboos about sex or nudity. In a lot of ways, her personality traits are very masculine, which is also something I can identify with. The problem comes when a typical female reader looks at the character and can't identify with her, and worse, recognizes signs of sexual objectification in how the character is portrayed.
So what? Why should DC Comics care? After all, isn't their target audience male? Well...maybe, maybe not. First, the writing is on the wall that, print comics, like pro wrestling, is a dying art form. Comics, if they are being embraced by today's youth at all, it's in digital format, a space that none of the major publishers are occupying. So none of the big boys can afford to alienate any part of their reading audience. Second, according to demographics, CN's Teen Titans had more female watchers than male. Why would any commercial entity ignore that?
Anyway...this is just a long-winded way of saying that both DC and Marvel are trying to make their offerings more female-fan-friendly, as a way of propping up boosting sales. Strange that they would portray Starfire as they did, but I figure if the first issue didn't have some pop, a comic predicated on Red Hood, Speedy, and Starfire would otherwise not generate a lot of interest. Other than Starfire, I am struggling to think of a heroine's costume change that didn't go in a more conservative direction. Which is not a terrible thing - Poison Ivy's new costume is an improvement, IMHO - but the costume on PG is just boring and unimaginative.

Awesome!
I think you made her so gorgeous here....She isn't too muscular, but has the right amount of muscularity, while staying feminine!
I love it...She reminds me of Jennifer Lawrence!
Yes, please take that as a compliment, because jennifer is so gorgeous!
