I really love this sort of work and this image and your gallery is totally awesome..May I ask a question is there a tutorial on how to get an effect like this one....In the middle of looking for plugin's for photoshop and seem's the image I am trying to do requires 3dmax but looking to create exploding effect on a poser head.

Reverberator In reply to CrisVector [2011-07-04 09:37:10 +0000 UTC]

I guess you are right
It happened to me too once.. staring at my own stuff somebody placed on the internet. Wicked! But I'm glad with dA - the freedom to add a watermark or not on a deviation I submit. It's a big family the way I see, and therefore we should respect eachother. You don't have to defend yourselves against me Cris, but it's a common fact that not everyone on this community is reliable. When I started with digital art the only thing I could do was to manipulate photo's - sometimes found on the internet. But thank God I realized that this was not something for me, so I changed radically and became more involved with the real thing: to start from nothing, not influenced by any artist or image or what so ever. Inspiration comes from all kind of sources - that's another story - but atleast I'm glad that it's all pure I represent.

the only point is: If you create images for money, so you should pay for your resources. Using pictures to practice is fine, but sell products is not good.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Reverberator In reply to CrisVector [2011-07-05 12:31:57 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I agree.
Never sold anything when I was practicing. I create everything by myself right now - no images or what so ever come from other sources. Unfortunately people do not understand that my mind works different and I know they remain sceptic without any knowledge.
Should I invite them to my own party to show them that I can do almost everything - with free software and less tools?
No - let them stay in their ignorance
Meanwhile only concentrating and focusing on things that really matter.
Thanks for your reply Cris - I really appreciate that

I did a drawing for a tattoo years ago of a skull exploding off to one side which I was going to have as an origional tat. but at the time (20yrs ago) would've cost me nearly Β£300. that soon went by the wayside, BUT when I saw this it reminded me. thank you..
