Like always, the YouTube advertisement faded in with a view of one of the aliens beaming happily at the camera. "Hi there, humans! This is Citrele here again, on behalf of your local Melon Ranch chapter!" She lifted a hand as she spoke and gave an energetic wave to the viewers, causing a jiggle in her cleavage. She was dressed in a pair of boyshorts and a shoulderless blouse, with a great deal of green skin on display. In one hand she held a large green melon, the rind speckled with dots.
The alien woman was hourglass-shaped and leggy, her body strained the dimensions of her garments. Her spinach-colored hair was styled and straight, with a bit of flip to the bangs on one side. Top xenologists had placed the biology of the alien visitors in the middle of a scale between Gumby and a Kardashian.
She spun the melon on her fingertip like a basketball and continued. "Did you know the human stomach is the most hospitable known environment for growing the parasitic melons from our planet? They grow bigger and better inside you than anywhere else! That's why we here at the Melon Ranch want to rent space in your belly! We're SO excited to get all your bellies big and straining with melons!" She stood taller and rested the melon against her hip, brushing her bangs aside with the other hand.
"Why work at your boring mammal job when you could be taking part in glorious melon ranching instead? Come down today for a consultation! Let us start growing some melons in YOU, and pay you the salary your digestive systems deserve," she said. "But don't take my word for it! Let's hear what one of your fellow humans has to say!"
Citrele waited, blue lips pursed. Her eyes flicked to the side, off camera, and she said again, "...let's hear what one of your fellow humans has to say!"
"NO!" a new voice yelled, a woman. "I'm not coming on camera looking like this! I'm enormous!" A plaintive note was apparent in the voice.
The alien woman's mouth spread in an impish grin. "I think probably a lot more enormous in a few weeks if somebody decides not to actually get those melons out of you when they start getting too big!"
"Gh-hh-h...fine!" At the edge of the screen, a human woman waddled in, carefully cradling her obscenely swollen belly between her arms. Her midsection was distended beyond belief, escaping between the confines of her tank top and projecting enormous and bare towards the camera. The surface of her gut looked taut, stretched, and slightly lumpy, as if a number of large spheres lay hidden under the surface. The embarrassed woman looked to one side and ignored the expanse of her own stomach. Citrele seized the human in tight hug, rubbing her green body lasciviously against the woman's melon-swollen belly.
"Hh-n-ngh! No hugs! NO HUG-G-Gs!" the human woman wheezed, groaning against the pressure of the melons inside her against a diaphragm stretched far too thin. She struggled and dislodged herself from the alien's grasp.
"Thanks for joining us today, Mandy!"
"SURE," said Mandy, cheeks blazing crimson. "Just what I always wanted to do, show up before an international audience with my belly HUGE and packed like a HUMAN PINATA!" She gathered her arms around as much of her waist as she could reach, as if she could somehow hide it from the camera.
"Superlative! Your dream came true! How stirring," Citrele said, clasping her hands in excitement. It was a mystery how the aliens had invented starships before sarcasm. "Mandy, tell our viewers how melon ranching has changed your life so far."
Mandy stammered, "...It's paying my student loans, making me look like a ridiculous zeppelin, and giving me a potentially lifelong distrust of fruit seeds."
"And there you have it!" the green woman said, beaming. She sidled over beside Mandy again and cast an arm around her neck, her hand venturing down to wander the top slope of the human woman's belly. Mandy grunted and shifted uncomfortably, and looked off into the middle distance. Citrele continued, "so if you're looking for a new job, give space melon ranching a try! You can earn an easy biweekly wage just by swallowing one little seed."
"I-I'm really not sure that I'd call this an easy job," Mandy said, groaning and cradling her stomach.
"We also offer premium pay to humans willing to eat multiple seeds rather than just one," the green woman added. "What an opportunity!"
At the mention of multiple seeds, Mandy bolted upright with her eyes wide, accompanied by the contents of her belly audibly clonking around. She looked at the camera and gave a silent negative shake of her head, swiveling her hand beside her neck.
The alien woman continued unabated, evident excitement in her voice. "Come on down to the Melon Ranch chapter in your local city today!"
