A little background: Over on my tumblr I decided to play a game where I'd draw myself as whatever pokemon people sent in/asked me to, and this was part of that.

Wow, I’m feeling nostalgic all of the sudden. The first time I ever really made a pokesona for myself it was a Riolu, since that’s who I played as through Explorers of Sky.
Gosh, I even wrote a straight novelization-style self-insert fanfic of Sky when I was a freshman in high school. I’m not even that embarrassed about it; I was a fairly competent writer, even back then. I keep thinking about heading back to it every now and then, in fact. It’s a happy memory for me.
Anyhow, it was a pleasure to draw this. Let me know what you think, or if you’ve got any other pokemon for me to try.
