All this talk of Wapeach made me want to make my own version, as the concept we've seen didn't really look enough like a "bizarro Peach". I probably stuck a bit too close to Peach herself in this design, but to be fair Wario and Waluigi have a lot of similar traits to their counterparts.

Just as Wario is driven by greed and Waluigi envy, Wapeach could be driven by vanity, seeking to make herself as beautiful and popular as possible. Naturally, she envies Peach for how easily she garners adoration (the same applies to Daisy, albeit to a lesser extent). In contrast to how Peach likes Mario and Luigi, Wapeach does not much care for Wario or Waluigi; she finds Wario crass and repugnant, and Waluigi, bitter and creepy. That said, they do sometimes prove useful as lackeys for her own schemes. She doesn't entirely mind Mario or Luigi themselves, and wishes that once in a while they'd come rescue her (of course, she has to be kidnapped first for that to happen).

But just as Wario and Waluigi are not completely devoid of redeeming values, neither is Wapeach. She can be surprisingly generous and charming when she wants to be (usually when it makes her look good and scores her some positive PR), and she isn't particularly callous or cruel (though she does tend to laugh haughtily when one-upping a rival). She wants people to love her, not fear her. If she likes someone enough, she'll go out of her way to beautify them, as she prefers to be seen with good-looking company.

Like seemingly everyone in Mario's world, Wapeach has a passion for kart racing, sports, and partying. Win or lose, she wants to look her best and enjoy the spotlight.
