I like your piece. It has a definite style and feel of punk tech to it. It is also cleanly rendered which is nice.
Things to look out for: I agree about the perspective issue, mostly in that visible wing.
I would say at the moment your materials are reading fairly similar to each other. While you do have somewhat different specular and reflective properties present, I think you could push these even more to show off the materials. For example metal should show higher reflectivity and highlights in general. Your wings almost look like canvas or something matte. I would also suggest adding a sense of movement to the ship as it is in flight. Some motion blur on the props and selected parts of the vehicle would go a long way towards this..as would the direction of the smoke.
In general though, dig the concept and good luck in the polls!

Nice idea. I like the insectoid shapes and the function of this aircraft is very clear. however, keep your eye on the perspective in some parts there are a few issues creeping in here and there. Anyway, good work dude.
