Disappearing floor tiles.
Electric shock and disappearing floors.
Falling ledge.
Green tentacles that form a giant hand.
Disappearing bridge over a fire pit that requires you to swing rope to rope.
Row 2
The Black Knight
The Black Knight's shocking floor tiles.
The flying mechanical horse
The flying sword and rising fire.
The Black horseman
Crumbling bridge
Purple baboons with knives.
Row 3
Crumbling Bridge

Skeletons in Black
Large Bat
Green Monster
Row 4
Large Spider
The Lizard King
Rotating Bumpers surrounded by thorns
Skulls and a giant Skeleton hand
Green Whirlpool
Sea snakes
Purple Tentacles with one eye
Row 5
More Purple Tentacles
Marble Madness (which is an Atari arcade game from the same time period.)
Giant bowling ball
Juggling the jewelry
Red Reaper
Princess Daphne
Row 6
The Dragon!
Princess Daphne
Perhaps his real death comes at the hands of the Princess?
Maybe this was all an elaborate test by her father to find a suitable husband for her.
That would make a great punch line for the end of the game.
Your character beats the dragon and then her father steps out from behind the curtain and shakes your hand and says, "You passed the test. Welcome to the family!"

That really would have been the perfect ending.
In the sequel, DL: Time Warp, the Princess truly is the game's biggest threat, once she turns into a gigantic (and hungry) banshee beast.
