Description
Since I enjoy making the arcade game calendars so much, I decided to branch out and start doing console games from the classic era. What better way to start than Atari's Combat, aka Tank Plus, if you had the version from Sears. As a kid I always thought this game would be better with more tanks, so I turned it into a six tank game. The original game featured Two player Tank, Tank Pong (bouncy bullets), Invisible Tank (you can only see the tank when it shoots), and Invisible Tank Pong (invisible and bouncy). There were a couple of variations of mazes as well. There was also a biplane game and a jet fighter game (not shown here.) I always thought the ability to shoot through the barriers would have been a good addition to this game (like in Space Invaders.)
