How do you introduce classic art from the Masters to young people who can't stand the idea of walking through a boring old museum?

Blend it in with something they love, video games!

Claude Monet lived from 1840 to 1926 and was a founder of French impressionist painting. His work with natural landscapes done in pastel colors is amazing.

For this piece I put the lilies in the background, overlaid images from Frogger on top, and then used Gimp to give the whole piece an oil painting look. That blurs the 8-bit graphics just enough to blend in with Monet's beautiful lilies.

Combining Frogger with Monet's Water Lilies will never end up in a real art museum, but will live forever here on Deviant Art, where young people can discover it.
