You do realize that I'm not the one who original created "Nazo Unleashed" Nazo, right?I even say it in the desription for Pete's sake. I just felt the need that since I did a few other Sprite Sample pics, I should try my hand at Nazo and some of his transformations. Doing the quills on the transformations was tricky, but I think they turned out just right.

Then why are you uploading sprites from it that were either stolen or at the very least based on it and getting defensive when somebody claims it isn't original?
Surely it's fair to say that it's not original to do either in the first place.

I did not steal this sprite. I made it. I just wondered one day "I wonder if I could make sprites based on Nazo from Nazo Unleashed and the eventual Wrath of Nazo", and that's what I did. I'm not claiming anything in here as original. I'm just saying here that I took a shot at making Sprites of Nazo. The only thing mentioned anywhere on this page is from this random guy who decided to troll me with boring and generic comments.

Again, I wasn't using that as a primary argument. My primary argument was that you were getting extremely defensive over someone stating a fact.

If you mean JolteonRahm243Β when you say that, I'd like to point out that he's left one comment, not several "comments."
If you're referring to me, then that's just proving your inability to take criticism in any form. Plus, I'd argue a "boring and generic comment" would be more akin to people praising your work without giving any feedback at all other than "this was good I liked it." because those are not only the most common kinds of comments you'll find, but they're also the least helpful.

One comment on this pic. He gave a few of my other pics comments and sent me notes telling me how he how he didn't like my stuff and not explaining at all why. He wasn't giving criticism, he was being a troll... a very boring one I might add. I was referring to the Jolteon guy, not you. Not even in the least. And if I am getting defensive here (not real sure if I am though. I'm not text shouting or anything), it's because I did my best to make this sprites. Those quills on Perfect Nazo weren't that easy, let me tell you.

The thing is it's not really something that's worth getting defensive over, for two main reasons:
1) Surely it's a fair point to state that what you're doing in responding to them in this manner is literally the worst thing you can do. Trolls feed on attention, so surely not responding is your best bet instead of replying once again.
2) You're getting defensive over the truth. I know I've said this a lot, but it's because it's true and you seem to be ignoring it. Whether or not this did take a lot ofΒ effort doesn't really matter. There's nothing neccesarily bad about a piece of work being unoriginal as long as it's a good job or piece. Unoriginal by itself isn't bad; It just means something's been done before, and a lot of things have been done before.

You seem to live a very contradictory life: You've stated on several occasions that you hate trolls, and yet instead of ignoring or blocking them you choose to reply to them. You get very defensive when people critique 'minor' details in your works, and yet you have no qualms about going out and berating other user's work based off' minor' details..

Still? What? No. I blocked him after he continued to bore me, and that was on the same day he came out of nowhere. And again, that was a few weeks ago. Why are you trying to bring something up that not only was done with a while ago, but frankly, was also none of your business? Why are you trying to act like you know me when you just got a DA account this week? Don't you have anything better to do then bring things up from the past that don't involve you?

Old news? Two weeks isn't really that long ago. If you've ever looked at the media you'll see they often tell the exact same story for over a month, generally.

Actually it isn't. At all.
It's just saying that it's not original.
If I redraw a character from an existing property (or "sprite" one in this case,) fanmade or not, it's not an original piece. It would be my piece, but that doesn't make it original.
