Description
I created this piece as part of a concept for an in-game nameplate after being invited to create a design that could potentially be implemented into the game for the title's moderation team. I decided that I wanted to use this really cool early concept design that was ultimately cut from the game of these mutant Raptors with mantid-like raptorial forelimbs and then based the pose off of the iconic [i]Jurassic Park[/i] kitchen scene where the two Raptors enter the kitchen. The background design was simply based on the designs of some pre-existing in-game nameplates. I knew using this Raptor design was a bit risky, but I just liked it too much to not do so.

Ultimately, this design was not used due to the usage of these cool concept Raptors but my design philosophy did influence the final design for the mod nameplate, which instead featured two Electro Raptors in a pose similar to that Jurassic Park scene.
