Description

First Sub species of Aphex (Which in not an illness) is finally here <3
I intend to roll out some items and lore in the following weeks for the new level update, but for now here is the newest set of lore <3

Trajen
Trajen are a mysterious race of Aphex that live primarily in deep water. It is almost unheard of to see these Aphex roam far from the beaches due to the inability to breathe air for long periods of time. Just like other ocean dwelling mammals, a Trajen can become sick when their coat completely dries out.
Like normal Aphex, Trajen do not have mouths, do not need to eat, but must return to the surface to bathe in the sun. They are the same size as the average Aphex, but their limbs are much more thin and fragile. Trajen have learnt to communicate with dolphins and whales, and will usually use these sounds for communication.

Habitat
Trajen can live alone or in groups. Myth speaks of an ancient city that the first Trajen called home, however the exact location of this city is unknown. Trajen can live in any body of water, as long as it have enough oxygen to thrive. Rock pools and beaches are also common areas to run into one of these Aphex.

Appearance & Transformation Rules
When transforming your Aphex to a Trajen sub-species, the Aphex may lose some characteristics in the process.
If your Aphex has feathers, they must be dropped or replaced with a trait of the same rarity. Same for Feathered wings, they must be changed to be appropriate for water. Trajen Aphex must kept their same patterns and traits (Slight alteration in the transformation is allowed). You may chose to keep/add fur if you'd like, typical Trajen can have any type fur/Ears.

When transformed these additional traits must be added.
Gills and legs are set as above, fins and tail can be personalized. No limit on fins/Sensors

+ Fins
+ Aquatic Tail
+ Gills (As pictured above)
+ Aquatic anatomy
- Sensors (Like a catfish etc. Does not need to be added)

To evolve your Aphex, you will need -

Mythos
Many believe that Trajen were created simply due to evolution, that Aphex were so keen to explore the oceans mysteries that they grew fins with each generation.
However, there are a handful of Trajen that tell a tale of how they supposedly earned their fins.

Tales speaks of a giant beast,
its cries created the currents,
its wales move the tides.
Trapped in its watery tomb as thousands of years passed by.

One day however, the beast was met with a pleasant surprise,
As unfamiliar shadows descended from the skies.

A pack of stray dolphins had heard the beasts pain.
So they decided to help the being from its twisted chains.

After weeks of effort, the dolphins found it fruitless,
Try as they might, their effort was useless.

So instead of freedom, the dolphins brought gifts and tales of ol' ,
Every year, new treasures to behold!

The beast decided to thank these creatures for their good hearts,
And gave each a special gift, a shell carved of gem and glass.

A gift that gave the dolphins a place in the new world.
