Description

Lee coughed into his paw for the fifth time that day, some deep sense in his body telling him maybe he should glance down at the paw he had coughed into. He was distracted by Tony's sad expression towards the sprouting seeds in his claws, the wyngling had eaten as many as Lee could sprout but he just stared at the last three seeds they had. His scarf was torn and bloodied, and he had blood still smudged across his face.
"A-Are you okay, Tones?.." He mumbled gently, watching his son slowly blink before looking to the pond in front of them. "These are the last ones..." Tony mumbled, eyes impossibly sad. "..And I'm th-still hungry.." Lee's heart cracked slightly at those words, looking at the seeds with a conflicted expression. Should...?
"Go ahead an-and eat 'em." He encouraged quietly, smiling slightly at Tony relaxing slightly against his side. Good, can't have his son getting malnourished.. He needs to grow still!
Lee's vision suddenly swayed, making him shut his eyes and groan softly. He kept getting light-headed and random losses of energy or his limbs just became numb, which he's sure shouldn't happen if he wasn't even cutting it's circulation. A violent cough ripped through his chest, the world growing more unsteadier by the minute. This cough really hurt his throat, it felt like something was being torn out of his lungs. It finally eased, Lee blinking tiredly at the pond in front of them. It really seemed so familiar... Where had he seen it?
"D-Dad? Are.. You okay?.." Tony looked up at Lee in concern, leaning into the paw Lee had placed on his shoulder. He nodded, vision blurring at the motion but refusing to move his paw from his mouth. He was being cautious if he had another coughing fit, but there was also something telling him he shouldn't let Tony see. See what?
"This pond seems... Really familiar.." He muttered, squinting at the orange, blurry water. It was small and peaceful.. Didn't...?
A very hazy memory of walking directly into the water surfaced, his stomach knotting in pain at the memory of both his wings accidentally dipping in the pond water with his legs. "I've been h-here..."
Tony straightened immediately, eyes widening as he looked at Lee in surprise and hope. "Wa-Wait, really?! D-Do you remember th-the way back from here?" Lee hesitated, quickly glancing down at the paw covering his mouth. Blood had seeped into the fur of his paw, vaguely registering the sticky feeling of something near his mouth dripping. He easily wiped it and settled his paw onto the grass away from Tony's sight. He was fine. They would be fine.
His magic stuttered to a stop as he looked around through the trees. He had come from that direction before... If they just went... Yeah.. He just had to make it to the edge and they'd be safe.
Tony would be safe.
"Yes."

Lee's fine. Though I'm sure falling from a great height might break something, likely a rib. But he hasn't been moving too much to further harm himself, has he?
