Description
This is a bit of a work in progress collage illustrating the creation of my leg armor.

As you can see, I cut the templates (which I designed myself, flying by the seat of my pants as I tend to do, although somewhat literally in this case, as well) out of old cardboard from food packaging

next, I started cutting the pieces out of the leather, adding a swooping thingy to the outside half of one knee.

Then, I dyed and burnished the pieces, and started putting them together. the two halves of the knee were stitched together, and the separate parts are suspended using leather cord.

Finally, I added straps and buckles, and attached the legs to my tasset belt, again using leather cord.
