Description
I'll get around to making an annual summary of art eventually...For now, I've been trying to get back into my art again lately. Crocheting, doodling just about every day, finally drawing from tutorials I downloaded as long as a decade ago, and lastly trying to finish some commissioned works. Some days I draw all day, the first in what feels like years really, other days I get back into my funk. Not even sure if it's an art block, creating things in and of itself just makes me feel too anxious and sad to even bother most the time...
But this is a new year, ain't got time for that as they say also I should save this for a proper journal entry and instead talk about the animation! >:V
So I won't get too into the details, but basically I installed Linux into my spare laptop and have been experimenting with some of the programs that's compatible with it. You'll probably see some doodles I made with Krita soon. I once tried Pencil2D before some years ago, but didn't like it then. And now, now that I do actually know how to animate semi-properly, I thought I'd give it another whirl. It's still a bit odd to use, but compared to animating with SAI it makes animating more fluid. HOWEVER, the program lacks the function to actually export all your hard work easily! For that, I'd never recommend it, it makes getting animations out there as if not more inconvenient as just using SAI and then GIMP.
Ack, I can't words right now... I made veggie nuggets today.
