Yes, I love Hama. She's one of my favorite characters from Avatar. And I love Hakanna. Because it's totally canon (if you don't believe me, watch the Puppetmaster and the Avatar returns).Well, the idea for this is, that if Hama hadn't been abducted, then she can Kanna would've raised Sokka and Katara once Hakoda left. So this is waterbending practice with Aunt Hama.

I love the concept! I've always been a fan of Hamma and her dynamic with Katara, when the two are bonding and in conflict.

Yes, but I just realized, it would have screwed with the entire plot line. Because then Katara would already know waterbending, and Aang wouldn't have a reason to go to the North Pole, so the entire first season just wouldn't happen...

Yeah, it's interesting to think just how the story would have changed just by that little difference. Had Hama been there when Katara and Sokka discoverd Aang, they never would have had to go to the North.

also Hama could have help with the invasion and she could have busted all the adults out of jail.
