looks like you could do a walkthrough movie, that would be cool too....unless you already have. Love it when people are so into MOON that they will put hours of their lives into producing something like this. I wonder if Duncan Jones has seen it...he'd love it too and would probably post a link on his website ManMadeMovies.

Star Trek! By the way you heard of the NCC-1864. I used to model it.

Funny factoid: I went to a test screening of moon w Duncan Jones giving an after show Q & A. He mentioned they used coffee all over the walls with a brush to get that weathered look.

Great detail and fidelity, just like in the movie. I'd love to have a living room like that haha

Hmmm can not remember now. It was pretty quick like 15-20 minutes, because i am using Vray solidrocks renderer.

Would you favour that over mental ray?

I am not an expert, but i choose Vray over Mental ray renderer, just because i am more experienced with vray.

Fair enough. I've been looking into vray more, but I'm more comfortable with mental ray. Vray with Solid rocks looks like a speedy alternative though if you know how to use vray.

Thank you mate . What do you mean by saying it is very 2001?

Thats alright! Reminds me of 2001 Space Odyssey - which is a good thing!

Yeah that is true. Moon was greatly inspired by Kubrik's space odyssey and other 70s-80s sci-fi movies.
