again, i don't get why so many bronies adore this movie. i mean, to each's own, but i just don't know why. the only thing worth watching in this movie is seeing Sunset trying to prove to everybody she's really turned herself around. that's it! that's literally it! she was the only character in the entire movie that i actually cared about. everything else was insanely BORING and UNINTERESTING! but it still got universal praise for some odd reason, so i might as well shut up before i have a mob of angry bronies hunting me down

1, No original ideas in the movies

One logic at the 1st movie, Twilight's crown design

2, Advertisement campaigns
3, Character designs
4,  Sunset Shimmer
5, Flash Sentry

Eg 1 Haven't seen it (and probably won't)
Eg 2 Easily my favorite of the three, and would be in my top 5 for the entire series if I counted movies as episodes.

I still need to watch Friendship Games. This movie was jsut a little better than the first one. Here's my review of it->  Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks Review
Whew…man the first one was bad. When I learned they made a sequel, you could guess my reaction to the news wasn’t pretty. I put it off for a good solid year. I still can't believe they are still trying to push this trash on me. When they started doing shorts and showing off bits and pieces of it. I was unimpressed by it all. They were trying way too hard to be hip and cool with some of them. Especially with the Vinyl Scratch one. It was sad to watch if you ask me. I never seen an animation team try so hard to be in with what is new.
It also didn’t help that only two of them would have any purpose to the movie at all and one of them is just coming up with a stupid song which could have been saved for the movie. I kept my ears and mind clear from this movie. I didn’t look up any reviews. Though the faint chatter I got from other MLP friends made me shocked that this movie was getting a better response from fans and critics than the last one. At the

animation: FREAKING FANTASTIC! 19/20

plot: engaging, with a few holes. 17/20

character: nice improvement on sunset, though most of the mane 6 was dummed down. 15/20

humor: nothing that stood out. 12/20

pacing: eehh, a bit messed up. 12/20

Honestly, I really enjoyed this movie. The music was superb in this movie! While the constant fighting of the band members was quite annoying, I was still able to enjoy the film. Sure, the whole "Equestria Girls" thing is really weird, especially when you expose the ponies into our real-world culture stuff, and mixing them with guitars adds on to that weird combination, I think that the Equestria Girls series has been really good, so far! I have yet to see the newest one that's come out, though. I would definitely give this movie a much higher score than you did, but hey, no judgement, here. You either like something, are "meh" to it, or you don't like something. 

But it's becoming clear to me that Hasbro and the staff are really only making Equestria Girls at this point to rack up the extra money that they oh-so-badly want. What a shame. It was clever at first, but now it's getting really old, even if I do enjoy the movies.

Also, the comments on this review make me roll my eyes. At least, most of them do.

Seriously, though, people need to stop overreacting about what you said at the end. It was just a joke. It wasn't meant to be taken so seriously like everyone in the comments is doing. It's no wonder why people can't make a simple joke anymore... sheesh! I, for one, personally enjoyed your little joke at the end. It was funny! Keep up the great reviews, Cuddlepug.

Looking back on this now, it's a better sequel than the first movie. A much better sequel.

Yeah, that doesn't really mean anything coming from the guy with the pony avatar. You like MLP: a show that's only real purpose is to sell toys to little girls but now because it's an Equestria Girls movie you suddenly adopt a "F**k the man" mentality? I especially love how you don't even bother to bring up the themes, messages, character arcs and story structure present in this film. You know, the basic things you would want to find in a movie review.  All i got from your "review" is that you're a butt-hurt brony who doesn't like the fact that your precious ponies were turned into humans. Grow up bro, Rainbow Rocks is not only a good film for kids, it's better than 60% of MLP episodes.

I thought this movie was...okay...
Twilight (despite being one of my favorites) just seemed FORCED into the movie. I DID like the songs though, and it did make Sunset seem more developed.

I'd give it a B- or a C+.
