Well, I didn't want to use a color already taken (I.E. Red, blue or green) and I didn't want to use yellow (my favorite color) because that's borderline Alvin territory. Being that I am a fan of at least two sports teams with orange colors, I chose orange. That, and it's the complimentary color to blue...
