Just to explain it a little in case anyone needs it... at the end of Shining Force III Scenario 3, Gracia (the little boy holding the staff) can promote all of the characters from Scenarios 1 and 2 to their final class. When you promote characters they gain a few bonus stat points. A few people have commented on how Synbios (guy on the left) and Medion (guy to the left of Gracia) look somewhat buffer in their final promotions (not to mention have more flesh on show), so this is my explanation for why how this happened.

I threw in Grace for good measure to say the "a FEW???" line, so I had something a bit familiar to draw; I think this is the first time I've ever tried properly drawing Gracia and Medion, and it's been ages since I last drew Synbios.

The picture was drawn as a few friends of mine are fans of Synbios and Medion, and made a perfect excuse to have a go at drawing non-furry characters; it was originally going to be a quick sketch of Synbios and Medion's heads and torsos, but Synbios's expression just asked for his speech bubble and the resulting joke.

This picture was drawn with a 2B mechanical pencil, and was fully drawn over the course of this afternoon and evening.
