Description
Following from my concept sketch of Tammy ([link] ), I thought I'd draw a height sizing chart of her, both as practice for drawing a full body figure and getting proportions done correctly, and also to put together a guide for Tammy's proportions in particular. I used the guides in the "Standard Human Body Structure" section from the book "How To Draw Manga - Volume 1" to help; Tammy was proportioned using the 7-head-sizes ratio. In my concept sketch for Hark, Rainy Day Sunshine suggested doing a size comparision of the Shining Furce characters, and although I started such a pic I never got round to finishing it. I've done this as a sort of alternative approach to it. I was going to include Kurru behind and to the right of her so I could do his proportions too, but felt I was better off using the space to show her tail position and size as it would otherwise be hidden.
I didn't want her to look thin (given her bust size it wouldn't be very naturally realistic), but at the same time make sure her hips were still "visibly female" (having received comments about doing a pretty lousy job of this in one of my pics on FurAffinity), and although it wasn't entirely intended while drawing them hopefully her thighs look just a bit on the chubby side. I'm also not sure if her arms are too chubby/muscly, but didn't want them to come out as thin beanpoles.
Although I want to colour and possibly ink this picture, I wanted to upload it here first so that people could point out any corrections I may want to make beforehand (it'd help to look at the concept art linked above if you haven't already, and cross-reference the two). Feel free to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and advice on where improvements could be made.
UPDATE: 03/03/2010 - Added a side view of Tammy's head & torso, to give a clearer view of the shape of her head, chest and hairstyle. Tried to get it as close to the same scale as the front view, though a couple of lines may not be 100% in line (I realised afterwards that some lines were angled for the sake of perspective but didn't look right when correlated with the side view).

I think this is an interesting view of the character. Her breasts are large but that isn't a problem. Compared to her shoulders, which look quite narrow, and her torso, they seem a little out of proportion. Her head also seems a tad small compared to the rest of her. I think the biggest point is the shoulders which could use some fleshing out.
Her thighs are great. Her hips have the feminine curves and her lower half looks well flushed out, which is what you seemed to be going for.
I haven't posted on FurAffinity for a while. Part of it is because of some creepy person who almost "stalks" me every time I post and responds to me no matter where my comment is.

Delayed action reply!
I didn't want to make her shoulders too large, as I didn't want them to be out of proportion with her arms and in turn didn't want her to look very muscly at all (being fairly weak in regards to raw physical power). Also - as you've noted with the hips and thighs - I wanted to make sure they looked feminine, and was worried that making them much larger might make them too masculine (a trap I've fallen into at least a few times).
Glad the hips and thighs turned out - I didn't want to make them particularly nubile, but as noted still look suitably feminine.
Trouble with the head is that I wanted to make sure I worked with the given proportions (i.e. approx. 7 head heights), so hoped I'd been able to get it right in that respect. I'm inclined to say the "side view" (being very marginally larger) wight prove a more accurate representation, as I think the front view gives a bit of an optical illusion due to the directly-face-on muzzle and her wide hairstyle.

lol things not going very well at furaffinity i take it? fuck 'em
as for improvements and criticisms, i think there's a few things you could do:
I don't know if you plan to color this, but if you don't i would suggest some shading because it lacks depth. (i noticed your style is to use very few lines so this might be a chore)
or you could add in a side view of her next to this one. It would help a great deal as to showing what hair style she has, how long her muzzle is, direction of ears, etc...

I'm inlcined to accept that they are at least a little larger than they should be - she is supposed to be rather busty, but realistically busty. Because I'd already drawn her tail there wasn't room to draw the bottom quarter or so of her beasts, and making them much flatter than that ended up looking too much like a flat diagonal line.
Despite her large chest, bear in mind that her outfits are designed NOT be the revealing sort usually associated with busty characters (such as SHF3's Marky) - she's a scholar, not a flirt (or at least denies being on, despite how much Kurru reluctantly thinks otherwise >.>).

I wouldn't say they're not working out, but it's not ben the smoothest of starts. The picture in question was one I hadn't intended to upload (at least not without a fair bit of work) but due to reasons explained in my journal there I had to. Although the suggestions someone gave me were valid errors, they were given in an extremely blunt manner that didn't do anything for my confidene; luckily after I replied to their comment they explained that they hadn't meant to come off as brash as they had, but wanted to be very direct about what was wrong with it, so it's all worked out. Worst I've had there was a troll who felt the need to spastically send the same shout calling my art sh*tty about a dozen times as well as a couple of other dumb flaming posts, which I was able to nuke at once (including looking up how to do so) before blocking them in probably less time than it took them to make the posts.
I did say that I plan to colour this. I'm planning to do a lot of shading there, in the same way as I've done with my other pencil-coloured drawings. Reason I haven't done so is that I want to get the lineart as correct as possible first, thus why I've put it up for any suggestions!
As with adding Kurru, I had thought about including a side view too, though there wasn't really enough room on the paper to do so (had I drawn Kurru, his right arm and part of the right side of his bdy would have been behind Tammy). However, I could shift the title and signature so I can put a side view of her head in that space. For the record, her hair is loose and straight at the back, reaching down to around the 4ft. line.
