That is definitely cute and it's nice that we got a game which is sorta like a literal crossover with any other possible Nintendo franchise with Mario as we've seen with PokΓ©mon with the cute little 8-Bit Pikachu sprite.
Super Mario Maker seems like a lot of fun. BTW, when watching Game Grumps with Arin playing this game on custom levels made by other people and other famous YouTube personalities, I can't get enough of him dying so many times and raging nonstop with the occasional Danny rages every now and then.
SMM might be on my list of 3DS games to get.

I recall seeing some old games that have added Pokemon in them as a form of update years ago.

Kind of a pity the Pokemon amiibos didn't get the're own end of level jingle, just the standard Mario one.
