Fire - 16. Void+ImplodeThe image

This is the last big bang of the serie, I wanted to do one more intense complex thing. And I also wanted to show something that seemed very old and authentic with some sort of reference to a 'higher truth'. That's all I'll say about this piece.
The Serie

Fire is a serie of 17 images.
My primary goal in this serie was to show a different sort of 'warmth' in every image and ofcourse to explore new styles and ways of working once again. And there's a bit of an underlying concept too but it's much more interesting to watch the images without knowing the concept.

great movement through compostion and use of rhythm. Trying to decide what i think of the people in the middle/top. Their flatness contrasts against the round 3-d composition/form. Are they a distraction or the focus? It makes me think that it's a combination of concepts through your utitlization of both primitive and hi-tech techniques. It's a duality. Hi-tech/lo-tech, 3-d/flat. And the use of rhythm in the layout is seen in theose TWO people, because essentially rhythm is the combination of two opposites, beat and pause. And rhythm was sooo essential to primitive life. I really like this piece.

i really like this one...with the whole cave wall 'ancient human' paintings and such....abstract, but at the same time it isn't....i almost think this one might be my favourite of the series...
