First excuse the line on the left that cuts through the image, my scanner really needs replacing.

But anyway.. these won't be characters you're familiar with. This is a comic I drew before Kate Five ever existed called Parallels Forgotten. Issue 1 has been completed for since then, but it's all drawn on A3, and as it's what I really want to send off to publishers, I wanted to do it the right way, which is why it barely exists here on dA.

But now that I've taken a year's worth of drawings home, I found this piece I'd totally forgotten about! I actually looked at it and I was like, "Woah! That's good!". The layouts I got from book, but I can't for the life of me remember what this exercise was called. But it's funny, that I seem to have been much better at composition and shadows last year that I am now!

So I'll hope you'll agree these are some pretty dynamic panels.

The guy who appears in the majority of those panels is called Alex. He's the protagonist. The story is all about time travel and parallel worlds, so it gets pretty complicated, but Alex's story is told by separate Alex's at different points in their lives and in different times, and how they all affect each other. The middle Alex has lost him memories and is living in 13th Century Medieval England, and then some Cyborg Mercs turn up on mechanical horses to ruin everyone's day. Needless to say that's some messed up time stream
