Vector trace of a really crappy .jpg. Done about 5 years ago in Adobe Illustrator 8. Lancer's Cyclone Armor. Motorcycle that turns into body armor... not bad.Related content

I loves me some Cyclones. I didn't like the Lancer character, but thought his Cyclone was best. According to the Robotech RPG the shield and blade things on the forearms (the CADS-1 system) are totally invulnerable, and the swords do as much damage as the guns and such the other Cyclones pack. So rolling with the Saber Cyclone seems like a no-brainer to me. Anywho, enough of my geekiness for one sitting...

Well I love me some Cyclones too (hence the name), but I had no idea! I watched the series, and read the books, but I haven't done the RPG. Totally thought Lancer's was the coolest by far. Just made sense to me that you'd might want to hack up some invid after your ammo runs out. Thanks for the info!

The RPG is awesome, and Lancer's bike is even more awesome. The crazy thing is his claws do as much, if not more, damage than the ranged attacks of his peers. Also, the CADS-1 means he's the only one who can "parry" incoming attacks with his invulnerable shields. In a big way, a skilled pilot wearing that Cyclone can't be hurt or stopped. The other Cyclones are cool of course, but don't do nearly as much. Without the ability to Parry, they take about 10 hits (on avergae) then break or explode. One Saber Cyclone could probably take out an entire army single handedly. It's crazy.
Anyways, I'd been looking for some cool Saber art, and was interested in alternate paintjobs. I was thinjking of trying out something more akin to what we saw Vince Grant use in Shadow Chronicles.

What I meant by what I said was that, the .jpg file I used to trace with in illustrator was really bad. I like my picture though, and I'm glad you like it too!

its awesome, sory for bad pun on Yellowdancer in a way i mean Lncer ll i have no friggin clue why he does that to himself. in the last episode he does reveal himself, and i got all 2 of Lancers songs,well the better versinos that it, i really love this so much!

man when is a cyclone not cool, what i would like to see is a pimped out cyclone, like it has jet wings popping out of it, and barrel lasers! yeah that would be kick ass! oh well in my dreams i am awesome!
