Description
This is a concept design for a veteran sargent for my space marine assualt squad, i have included a few helmet variants for everyone to comment on, and which one they may like, and i may incorperate it into the painting of the model.this deviation was done using pencils, pen and adobe photoshop CS.

cheers for the comment!! the helmet is actually a conversion from one of the "beaky" helmets... just used a modelling knife to shape it!! reasonably simple after 5 first attempts!! lol

hot on the iron hands thunder hammer buddy!! and the helmet is a beaky that i have cut down to suit that shape.... the shield is from the company champion, its slightly larger and has the skull, scroll and wrieth on it!!

haha cheers buddy, i do like VsHv III too, the red does contrast against the blue and gold of the ultramarines i was thinking that this particular model would be nasty to come up against in a game, combat shield, plasma pistol and thunder hammer on an vet. assault marine.... ouch in close combat!!!

quite detailed, I love the pre-heresy helmet and left shoulderpad, have a distinct Crusade design to them. Though one tip is that using a slow weapon like a thunder hammer with an assault marine semms a tad impractical...
My opinion is that Lightning claws are the best fast-assault weapon, but a thunderhammer would be best for an independant character...
