Alkraas In reply to RonzRa [2012-09-14 16:45:31 +0000 UTC]
In gimp you go to save and type in your artwork name example: my great picture
and after the name just type .jpg, example: my great picture.jpg
then you come to another window, there you can customize the quality of your image:
1 = worst 100 = best
then just go to save
no you have your image as a jpg

If you are talking about the "Stuffs of me!" box then you need a longer background image to cover the whole box. That's just a small problem.

I followed the instructions to the best of my abilities. But the background keeps coming out under the actual deviation, followed by the image and link I entered in the code. So its like deviation, background, deviation. Instead of them being on top of each other.

You need to be premium to use the code.

The context-menu for copying the image-link depends from browser to browser. Please try with other web browser such as firefox or chrome to get them!

Hello! Your code isn't working properlly on my profile.
My deviation is too big - I can see only half of it.
And a text is grey... I don't know why.

CypherVisor In reply to Ithlini [2012-08-20 16:07:48 +0000 UTC]
Use
tags at the bottom of the codes to increase the size of the box
And the text is grey only. I am not able to get any other font color for it as of now. You may use content-holder boxes instead for your text.

I did everything, but my image looks too big, and I can't see it fully. It is on the option "normal size".
What should I do?

Copy the image link when it not in the editing mode and without any customization code inside.

I understand how to do this manually for every deviation in the box. But is there a way to make your Newest Deviations widget or a widget of a particular folder in your gallery show the deviations automatically as you upload them? Or do you have to do it manually each time you want it to show something different? Also, how do you do this for literature deviations? I can do this with photographs or art, things with direct image links, but I am not sure at all how to do so with literature posts which don't have a direct image link. Or do they? D:
Thank you so much for your amazing tutorials!

CypherVisor In reply to DrMeh [2012-08-19 18:49:22 +0000 UTC]
No, you can't get the deviation automatically updated when you post a new deviation in dA. You need to manually do it every time.
I haven't tried with literature thumbs in the new deviation widget. I not sure if you can have it there. I'll give it a try! If it will be possible then I'll surely be sharing it with all!
Thanks for posting this query!
