Well, I might have made the background too big. When I apply it the bottom half of the deviation gets cut off.

probably you need to expand the box by adding
tags at the bottom of the code

I've visited your profile. I guess you are not putting the deviation-image-link properly.

Yes, you should be able to use the content-holder boxes in your deviation widget.
And you are most welcome!

Can you do the same as this on your newest deviations box? Or is there a difference in the coding for it?

Ah crud I seem to suck at getting this thing to work, could I possibly get some help seeing where I went wrong? I can only seem to get them to line up going straight down rather than next to each other. Or is straight down the only way they'll line up?

You should take the image-link not the URL address of the background mind it!

I know I'm probably missing something obvious, though I've been trying all the different links just trying to get the deviation the right size. Firstly it appeared at the thumbnail image, which I quickly resolved but instead it's come up extra large and not sitting in the box as it should. I've tried many different links from all locations, it's there every time but the wrong size to fit in the box. Where am I going wrong?

CypherVisor In reply to RainbowCrumbs [2012-08-11 19:28:06 +0000 UTC]
you should get the deviation image URL when its not in the editing mode...

Unless the only way is to put in img width="YOUR-WIDTH-SIZE" height="YOUR-HEIGHT-SIZE" with the image url and just guess the correct pixels in trial and error?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
CypherVisor In reply to baskervwatson [2012-10-30 15:31:34 +0000 UTC]
You can just use any of the properties "width" or "height" and the image with re-size proportionately by itself. And what I was suggesting was, taking the IMAGE link of the image when you are not in the editing mode of the deviation widget. This way you'll get the image link of the exactly sized image displayed in the box.

I'm having the same problem. I haven't used the image URL from editing mode. When I take it from the picture in my gallery, it's still too large (abnormally so) and when I take the main URL if I was going to download it, it's huge! It's not a matter of the box being to small, but in it not fitting the size of the box. Is there a way to specify the dimensions of the image?
