He recovered pretty quickly despite the kick to the head...though given his confusion, hopefully he's not a human who is just realizing he got isekaied into a Pokémon.

Froakie is lucky he isnt very weak, so he managed to recover alright, and yeah maybe in the future I could do background characters of other Deviantart people, I have thought of that before and I think its a pretty neat idea that Id like to put in practice in future chapters

guess for a Super mystery dungeon character it wouldn't be as surprising since a big plot of the game is pokemon turning into stone kek
And Id assume this Scorbunny would be the type to really really have a bad time processing something like this, it sounds a bit bad to say it but I remembered how Logan Paul infamously reacted to seeing a dead body in his very controversial Suicide Forest video and I thought that kind of immaturity would be something this Scorbunny would pull off as well thus him saying something to calm himself that sounds out of place like "Merry Berries" feeling stupidly fitting LoL
so Id say inspiration really is everywhere KEK (plus its based off how some One Piece characters also act when distressed, I really like some of the most ridiculous things they do in supposedly serious situations)

Oh true, I guess turning into stone must be a common way to die in the Pokemon world lol, I think the same thing happened in the Diancie / Yveltal movie if I'm not wrong.
On the bright side, Scorbunny's reaction is due to him being a youngster (and not for being an inmature youtuber lol). Oh I'm hoping to see more funny reactions of his ^^

yeah I really wanted to convey that immature feeling, which I think can show easy on over reactions, and thank goodness he isn't a YouTuber, would probably just do fidget spinner videos or something lol

oh certainly! I have had many many comic projects I've wanted to work on over the years, but most of them never took off, for some reason this comic felt ok to work on and maybe it's simplicity made me want to carry on with it kind of like a daily routine ( at least for as long as I have the free time since Im with my family in another country solving some issues )
So I'm really hoping I will carry on working on it, even if some days I don't really feel like getting out of the bed, drawing it always feels quite rewarding ^^
Im also hoping the previous tease comic bits I did with my Pokemon trainer, Sobble and Eevee will one day take of as well

I definitely admire the work you've been making with the comic, drawing daily pages is no easy task, especially if it involves a big story in the process. So yeah, there's a lot of effort behind this and the fact this one is going up well is certainly great ^^

they do have a very similar look and even evolution line, body shape wise and color wise they are possibly very close to one another, but they have fairly nice differences, I personally like Sobble more for example but don't care as much for its evolutions, while Froakie is pretty neat and I do fins its evolutions very well design, and so does japan apparently since greninja has always won popular pool votes there haha (and now pokemon of the year)

Id say Froakie is not having the best of times by being not only covered in leaves in the middle of nowhere, to having amnesia, to being stepped on, only to later have some rabbit pour more leaves on him cause he thinks he killed him lol, so Id say Froakie gets to be at least a bit cranky Lmao
