I like how it’s really clear who the antagonists are, you can tell by their pose, and a darker colour for their body, when you could have easily made their tone a bit brighter and their pose more normal.

Yesh! You can't have a PMD story without some nasty, troublesome mons ^^ And each one of them reminds me of Team Meanies, AWD and Skull. And I fucking love how Sneasel looks, the Sneasel/Weavile line is one of my favorites when it comes to Dark types

I just always found Sneasel to be such a badass Pokemon and perfect to play a meanie in a story, I couldn't resist TvT from seeing it in Silvers team to the way Weavile shows up in PMD being a mean girl, to the cool Weaviles in the Lucario n Mew movie, to even being chased by them in Sowrd n Shield lmao, Sneasel is just so neat, love em!
and yes I wanted familiar faces we know that can cause trouble as well, so deinitely picked up from teams that have other of their evos cause trouble ( O'w'O )
