Now, THIS is something that I think that the developers of the PMD series should include in the games; the protagonist actually having to get used to his new Pokémon body and learning how to use his moves.

I mean game wise it makes sense ot just let the character use its powers, however it could work as a very neat beginning tutorial, but we know how the fans feel about the tutorials at this point lmao
story wise though I thought it was something ok to grab and joke around

Exactly. I've always thought it strange that the protagonist could just use all of their moves from the beginning without being taught how to do them, so it's a refreshing bit of clean air.
Though, I imagine that things such as the increased agillity and reflexes would be more instinctive in their new Pokémon form.

true true, there are many things I'm trying to avoid stepping in when it comes to the idea of a human turning into another creature, in the games its very straight forward, they know they aren't supposed to look like that (I think the creators idea really was "the player -usually a 11 yo kid - who really sees themselves has having been thrown into the pokemon world" which is why the quiz is so important int he beginning), they have powers and use them naturally and go on their adventure, mine is also perplexed that it doesn't look the way it "feels" he should look like, but it cant use its moves as naturally (mostly because I wanted to explore the part of using moves in a story based content)
but there are many things that have crossed my mind when playing PMD like how 4 legged Pokemon feel since they were 2 legged before, and Ive seen a PMD comic do a good joke on this:
Theres lots that could be questioned in PMD, so Im taking some stuff into consideration, but also not really digging some others or the story would possibly not go in the direction I'd like it too, even if sometimes I might take some wrong turns on it, but imma do my best! so thanks for the comment and checking the comic out my dued!
