ah good to recall the friend theme form PSMD, that was like the main theme of the game in lots of part due to it being a recurring leitmotiv in many tracks

Indeed, if Froakie has a big knowledge about Pokemon, I can imagine him using certain items or even giving information about types and moves to his partner, the needy info you require during battles in RPGs hehe
Yes, that's the exact kind of emotion you feel with the theme and it really helped when you take into account the partner has an even more crucial role in PSMD in comparison to the previous titles

man thanks so much for this comment, it always amazes me how people take out some of their time to leave a thought on a comment for others to read, its really nice of you, so thank you for sharing what you are feeling and thinking about my comic, I hope it keeps you interested as it progresses and even if not its already nice that you read some of the work I did on it! so thanks again
as for the name thing I can actually say already that no I will not give them names because when it comes to names Im following the Go-Getters and Explorers anime logic, however! nicknames and titles will be a part of the story, so you can expect some different ways of calling certain pokemon being a part of my story, technically Sneasel already used Bunny and Froggy as terms to try and make Froakie and Scorbunny look inferior, so that kind of thing will also keep being a part of the comic
