I think my Riolu and Charmender in PMDE were probably those kind of rookies in anime that were able to beat Dialga by the pure power of friendship haha, my headcannon is that Riolu gathered energy like Goku does with his SPirit Bomb and then unleashed it on the poor confused primal Dialga kek
