oh my sorry, they are both male yes, maybe I should get them doing more "masculine" things to prove it lmao, I just noticed that while writing this I did make it a bit gender neutral in a way, maybe its cause PMDs story is a bit gender neutral itself due to you being able to choose the gender and them not wanting to change much of the dialogue to match it other than putting a her/she in opposite of him/he
(also this might be a bit odd but I find it funny that this question is brought up when Froakie is crying as the stereotype is that boys dont cry, but the poor fella is really trying to wrap his head around whats happening and hes still fairly young so he cant help but tear up a bit/ plus being a water type he cries way more than necessary kek)
Also for some reason Froakie is starting to remind me a bit of Aang from last Airbender, maybe it really is the crying lmao
