This image is a showcase of my entry for the Pixel Plus UI update banner competition that took place a while ago. Pixel Plus UI is a custom Android firmware based on AOSP and Google Pixel features. The ROM offers great performance, stability, security, minimal UI and awesome features including pixel goodies.
The image features a black smartphone with a colorful abstract wallpaper on the screen. The wallpaper matches the blue and green abstract shapes on the dark gray background. The image also shows the update banner for the Pixel Plus UI ROM, which is a yellow rectangle with a blue border. The update banner reads “Changelog! (Available for all OFFICIAL supported devices)”.
I created this image as part of the competition to design an update banner that would represent the ROM and its updates. I used a flat design style with geometric shapes and icons to create a modern and eye-catching image. I also used the colors of the pixel Plus UI logo to create a contrast and harmony with the background.
I didn’t win the competition, but I had fun participating and creating this image. I’m proud of my work and I wanted to share it with you on DeviantArt. I hope you like it and appreciate my efforts. 😊
