Description
After our first night in the Drakensberg Amphitheatre escarpment area we had a promising first sunrise with an inversion.
Although it doesn't look like it, the waterfall in the left of this picture is the second highest in the world with a total drop height of 948m over 5 cascades, it's called "Tugela Falls".
During my visit in late March there was not yet enough water in the rivers to make the waterfall look very prominent.
I really liked the scenery when the first light of the day was hitting the ridge on the opposite side, creating a spotlight for the upper section of the waterfall.
