Description
At Montmartre hill in Paris, just in front of the "Sacré coeur basilique" a man watching the great view on Paris. I found him easily in the crowd because he was very different from everybody else around...coming probably from North Africa, walking slowly, looking sad and like lost in this place. But that's just a capture of this moment and my way to illustrate the word: Immigration (it's the same word in French & English), this man is maybe a real tourist...But we're all tourists

That little patch of blue in the sky is so lovely (as the red on the old man's cap) in your almost B&W picture. Even he is so sad and nostalgic in the gray world those patches of color may be seen as happy memories (red on the cap witch is on head, where the memories are hid and somewhere far away in the sky, like his homeland is far away). But picture must be seen maximized, otherwise you cant see this. If you ever make a print, choose a bigger format.

Thanks a lot Linda ! So it must be unconscious because I like very much Magritte ! I had postcards of his works on my bedroom's walls when I was a teenager !
