I'm kind of drowning LokasFrost in presents this year for his birthday because dating me is a lucrative business but one of them is a ref sheet for Skirk, his newest dude who I fucking l o v eHe's a Warhammer Skaven and he's covered in abscesses and tumors and he chewed off his right arm because it was rotting and he's all around just a great guy
seriously I fucking love this creature with a passion you don't even understand

it must be hard to fit in with other stormvermin, being that one kind is sword-and-board and the other kind are halberds, both need both arms to work effectively, or is he more of a commander or general?

Skirk's definitely a commander. He was a chieftain! But he actually lost his arm after abandoning the skaven and his clan during the events of the End Times. Before that he fought with sword and shield!

I'm unsure how the catgirl is so small (skaven are usually 4-5 feet in height, maybe 5+ for stormvermin or warlords)....
Also, why is the catgirl even there?

uh
1) Fox. Daarka is a fox. Cats do not have tails like that. Or ears like that, for that matter.
2) Daarka is 4'11. Skirk, the Skaven, is a black rat/stormvermin, and standing kinda hunched like I drew him here, he's 7'2. I actually went to the effort of drawing them to-scale, so there's no exaggeration on their sizes here (except the one where she's sitting on his shoulder, I'm very aware the sizing is off in that one, I just didn't bother fixing it because I had worked on this for literally 25 hours and was done messing with it).
3) These two are in a literary roleplay I've had going with LokasFrost for over a year now. It's complicated and not worth explaining in a dA comment, but Skirk did a bit of world-hopping after his kind were (to his knowledge) wiped out, and ended up on a world where Daarka lived. He's under the employment of her husband, and after a great deal of time, Skirk and Daarka ended up in a sort of extremely unconventional father-daughter relationship, which I've adored since its conception and deeply enjoy drawing.
4) Literally because I wanted to draw it so I did. Who cares.
