Description
Another cutting of Marvin. I enjoyed making him so much the first time i had to go again, but on his own this time.

Love Marvin!
And I love the Hitchhikers' Guide in general. There's something about Marvin and his depressed self that makes him an unlikely hero. The type that you love to hate and you hate to love... but you love anyway.
Thanks for another Marvin cut!

Douglas Adams was a genius and his characters are brilliant. The movie Marvin is just perfect rendition of him, and voiced brilliantly too!
Have you read Derk Gently's holistic detective agency? I only recently discovered the BBC did a series, dunno if you have seen it but it's really good if not. The first 3 or so episodes are on the BBC iplayer at the moment... If you can use the iplayer where you are.

I love the Marvin in the movie. I mean, there were a few misses with the movie, but Marvin was spot-on. I love Douglas Adams in general, and I love Marvin in specific. He (it?) was probably my favourite character in the whole Hitchhiker series!
I actually -have- heard of Dirk Gently. And I started reading the first book. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to finish it. When I first found out about it, I thought it would be funny, but it was even more non-linear and more non sequitur than the Hitchhiker series. It proved to be a bit of a harder read for me at the time and I just never finished it. However, the whole "professor of chronology" idea struck me as something like Doctor Who. It wasn't until much later that I found out Douglas Adams was actually involved in writing a few episodes of Dr. Who (that never got aired). It was a "a-ha!" moment for me. I didn't know about the BBC series. I gotta look into it! Thanks!
