I did this in my sophomore year of high school (I think). It was my first time using Photoshop like this, so it's not so good hehehe. I didn't even know about layers at the time.

Basically, this is partly based on Fushigi Yuugi. One of the four gods, Seiryū, was summoned by the priestess of Seiryū and in exchange for three wishes she is sacrificed to him. The strings are coming from the heavens and looping around her to symbolize that sacrifice. Seiryū is actually a dragon in Chinese mythology and is often portrayed surrounded by water or clouds.
