EDIT2: I made her dorsal stripe a bit less harshEDIT: lightened up the spots again. They were too harsh.
Temporary reference sheet for mountain lion Dae.
Here's her design before any edits:
I edited a few parts of her design. Her spots are more circular and are darker near the center so they appear less flat. Now they look less like metapods. xD I added some green and blue to her tail to balance the design more. Her chest markings are now different. Her feathers are now part of an earring that's attatched to her ear by a gold stud. Her opposite her has just a gold stud, but no feathers. Some other minor things were tweaked too.
What do you guys think? Improvement? I like this new edited version more. ^^

I saw her through =akeli 's wonderful rendition of her and just had to say she is absolutely lovely.
I once found a picture of a cinnamon-spotted adult cougar in a book, which immediately came to mind when I saw this design. You have every right to be pleased with yourself for creating such a striking character!

Buuuut I kind of liked the other spots better. I guess they looked softer, and more natural. A little less "HI IM RIGHT HERE!".
Also (back to the spots, clearly i have an obsession) maybe, in the future, refrain from drawing the spots into such perfect lines and columns, just to make it seem a bit more realistic.
But overall, i love her and am jealous of your epic character design powers. They are delicious.

I darkened the center of the spots because they seemed a little lost ad unbalanced on the old design, however I may lighten them again. I dunno.
But the spots are modeled after mointain lion cubs, which tend to have darker spots that are organized in rows and columns---[link]
