I read their entry, it was fantastic and I don't blame you for picking them. They did seem like a great choice. It just sucks to see people abuse free adoptables and stuff like that, I guess.
I'm just sorry it happened to you. I hope it doesn't scare you off from doing more free adoptables; I am sure there are tons of people out there who would love to truly cherish a character design from you. It was a great thing for you to give this one away; just horrible someone abused that like they did. ;~;

I really take a shining to this character because it looks determined. Whether it be for good or for evil, this one is willing to do whatever it takes to survive, and in the end doesn't really seem to care who gets injured in the process of escaping or taking what it wants because it's not its problem. There is no immediate gender role assigned to this character, and it much prefers to go without it because being labeled and sticking to it is the least of this one's concerns. Perhaps the rope around its neck was a means of execution - whether for itself or some other unlucky bastard remains unknown. I guess there's only one way to find out, after all. This one is beyond caring, because there's not really anything worth giving a single damn about when it comes down to the nitty gritty, and being surrounded by others is the least favorable situation to it. Others are frowned and belittled mentally by it because they are viewed as peasants and wastes of space - much like itself, but that doesn't count when one's busy doing their best to avoid social interaction. There are wildernesses to be explored in a solitary matter, and its personal business is just that - personal, and does not regard any outside individuals. I get an extremely strong apathetic vibe here, because emotions are overrated and a hassle when you're expected to let them dictate your life.
Well, not exactly explaining why I should have the design, but I would lie if I said I didn't want it, and I felt it necessary to write down what I felt when I saw this. Thank you very much for considering if and when you do.

Actually... I would use this as my new dog sona. I've been looking for a good, simple design for quite some time (As i seem to be terrible at making them myself 
You're gonna do whatever you're gonna do! I know regardless of where you send him/her they will be loved! If i were to get her though, just know that she would be used a ton, and would have a very special place.

hm I like him because he seemed to have a rough past and with my help I can give him a good back story. Not only that I shall get him drawn just like my other OC's since I love them all. I will do my best to draw him in my style.

Hm. This is gorgeous. Why do I want him? I'm a sucker for piebald designs. I love the rose color too - one of my favorite colors when done properly (not too much blue to make it lilacy!), which it is done here. Add that with what appears to be a big merling spot (come on now, a ROSE MERLE? squee) just makes me enjoy this reference even more.
I enjoy big, wolfy characters (almost want to say you can play this guy off as a dredge), and have been looking for one easier to color, for I won't have to hire folks to do it. The rope reminds me of The Hanged Man - something I'd love to play on, perhaps write a story about. Perhaps his name? Hmm. He's also lithe, another thing I've always adored in characters - maybe they're hyperactive, maybe they're just starving.

Oh my, the more I look at him, the more I fall in love with him! ;u; He has such beautifully simplistic design and I just love the rope around his neck, it gives the character some depth. Also, the fluff on his neck mixed with the lithe, thin body is killing me, I love it so much. I hope to bring life to him, give him a story all his own. I am resisting the urge to draw for him now. If I don't win, the person who does may just get some art of him from me. I really do enjoy drawing and I sketch constantly. He would show up many times in my sketchbook and hopefully, a few full pieces in my dA gallery. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this. I would love to add this guy to my family. I don't know if I can really find the words to say why I'd love for this fella/gal to join my weird little family of characters, but I shall try. :3 I really adore the design, of course. I really enjoy browns on whites, but have never designed my own character with this color scheme. I love the fluff, I love the wiry but sturdy looking frame. I love the sullen, somewhat-sad-but-powerful look in the eye. I love the frayed/broken rope around the neck that drags on the ground, and which tells a story, but a story yet to be told. It makes me want to know more about this creature, to get to know them and learn about the story behind that rope, to learn about them, and about those somewhat sad eyes. Right now they have no past, no present, nor a future to speak of, and it just makes me want to give that all to them; to sit down with them in front of me on my own sketchbook and discover this story of theirs. I want to give them a life to live. <3

I will definitely treasure and cherish this, I can't think of any moments I've had on dA that are more splendid than this right now. ;O; <3 The more I looked at this character throughout the day, the more I hoped they could be mine, the thought of developing their history and their life was such an exciting prospect, and I admit, I fell in love. But at the same time, I refused to let myself believe it could ever come true. ;.;

I admit that it was a nerve-wracking day. XD I kept myself preoccupied by watching terribly cheesy horror movies, but then kept checking dA like every 15 minutes. lol
I'll definitely link you to any pictures I draw! :3 I'd really like to get some practice sketches of her (she just feels like a girl to me X3) done in the next few days. She's got a different physique from any of the characters I currently have, so along with discovering who she is, I also need to discover how to incorporate her into my style, and my style into her. ^O^ It'll be really interesting for me, I've been enjoying tinkering with new things lately!

I just wanted to add, since I thought I should be honest about this - that I am *not* a very 'fast' artist. It usually takes me months to finish anything, sometimes more than a year. I sketch often, as I greatly enjoy sketching, but find it hard to bring things to a complete finish (because of various things, life and whatnot). So I can't promise that I'll have my gallery filled with this character in a months time, or even a year. But they'd definitely be sketched a lot, as all my characters are, and they'd definitely be thought of, pondered on, and loved.
I know sketches aren't much, but I love doing them and put a great deal of effort into them. <3 Sketching is my favorite part of art! I never finish something until I can be sure I have the ability to put just as much love and effort into the rest of the process. ^^

He's an amazing design, I love his spots!
He looks like a criminal, from his sly eyes to the rope around his neck which tells he was sentenced to death by hanging but managed to escape (a sly one)
He seems untrustworthy but a bit frightened at the same time, shown by his tail which is pointed down and his lowered ears. His mouth is also curved, giving him an annoyed look. All in all his character design tells a story, from his muzzle, to his thin, food deprived stomach, to his scraggly tail.

Oh gosh getting a character from you would mean the absolute world to me! I would really love this character since the way it's fur and anatomy and colors are is very attractive to me. You did an excellent job on this if I might add. And if I get this I would ask if you wanted to make it sister/brother to Jovian ;o Also I would love to use this kind of ref. It's original and also I would use the colors a lot! Plus this character says something unique about. The rope gives it a well defined structure and tells a story if I may add at that. Plus I love your art regardless and you in general <3 (just pointing that out hee hee). I would love to draw for this character everyday. <33 I could done fun experimental things with the rope along with other characters hee hee. It speaks out to me in words as I can't describe. He looks like he'd make a great bro for one character I have that hasn't gotten much attention yet since I'm still working out his bio and such. But I pictured him with a brother who was grumpy and more serious than him :3 and the design and pelt colors are real close too so it would really work. That plus the fact that I'm a sucker for natural colors and simple designs xD

I would want this character because of the hidden story I can see within him.
It shows how hard life is and how little mistakes can lead to big consequences.
It seems like he is running away from it all but has been broken and continues to be broken even more as he runs.
At least...that's how I see it...
But beautiful character. Whoever may get him will be a very lucky person.

I am really quite taken with the character. I like the rather...beaten, skinny look but also somewhat strong bodied. Like its a character thats been through a lot. Maybe he was cast aside or left for dead? (guessing the rope around the neck) or maybe they just like the rope for decoration/accessory purposes. I tend to love characters that look rough and seem like they have a tragic back story or had a bad life ;3; Oh gosh I'm gushing

Mainly I love/want the design because of the anatomy and simple markings. Easy to draw, yet interesting to draw. Also, I really love neck fluff, and this guy has a good bit of it.
