My entry for the prompt: Autumn! I drew Rowan traveling through Redwick because he's a bit of a travel bug. Fall always makes me want to go on an adventure for some reason, I don't know why. It happens every year and kind of drives me crazy. @_@I downloaded new brushes for the first time ever and I'm kinnnd of obsessed. I'm still learning what does what but I am pretty excited about all my tasty new texture options, it's a brave new world. In the spirit of rough painterly goodness I went ahead and hid my lineart layer. Crazy stuff man.

Pffff you are too nice! I love atmospheric pictures and I LOVE FALL TOO this picture was so soothing for me to work on. :'> While I really like making these simplified backgrounds I reeeeally want to get better at making complex ones! I've got the world's shortest attention span though and about halfway through I usually just say "I'm tired. Guess I'm done!" and call it a day.Β

Thank you so much! I am so excited about these new brushes, it's really hard to make interesting backgrounds with the default brushes in Photoshop. I need to get a lot more practice with them before I can really tap into their full potential but at least I've got the tools now. :'D Β Sorry for replying so late! @_@Β

Thank you Gale! I'm really excited about this new brush pack. I've tried to install custom brushes a few times in the past but it never worked?? I decided to give it another go and BAM. Texturey goodness. This is going to be so helpful. @_@
