I see you've been watching this one recently. It is not part of the official Macross universe due to changes made in the creation of Macross 7 & Macross Plus, and the decision to make the Macross DYRL movie a...movie. However, it is still definitely a Macross story, it has Mikimoto characters, and the action is pretty credible. Gotta love it anyway.
