Using beautiful coloring jobs and amazing detail, Pablander achieves such a feat in transporting his watchers into another world in each and everyone of his deviations. They told me today that my English
Is too good for their surveys—
Or rather—that the Philippines office
Can edit almost as good as I at a fraction of the price.
Lightning flowed and ebbed through my nerves, pulsing
Like I had stuck my tongue on a 9-volt battery
Conducted by my myelin-soaked nerve endings,
Giving the illusion of ironically cold blood in my veins
When my time came, and they broke me the news.
A sensation and perception that I can only call "Menis,"
Godlike wrath of Achilles.
"You can still solicit surveys,
Dialing on the phone, if you want."
"Consider this my resignation, effective

Wow, is it already time for another monthly feature? Man they go by fast and I haven't had enough time to savor the writers that we've featured for August. Thus September begins and I must begin the arduous process of selecting the best I've featured for this month, and that goes to batousaijin .

batousaijin is one hellacious poet, a writer that exhibits fine penmanship, a free-thinking mind, and a wealth of contributions to the Literature world. His poems are filled with philosophical musings, religious forethought, etc. There's just so much this person has down in his gallery that it's near impossible to list them all, but you can peruse his gallery and enjoy this fine poet!

TwilightsFall 's Feature

Torby-ADK

Starfish LoveA starfish occupies the bed with arms and legs
stretched to the corners. She'd been testing
his shell for weeks: teasing, she'd pry
a while, then move away. Last night
she opened him like a clam. Dizzy,
slumped on the edge of the mattress,
he wonders that his insides feel so hollow. :thumb59887987: Me and JackJack's face would show grizzle now,
if he weren't a white dog. When roused
from sleep, the eyes need time to reflect
his presence. The Great Pyrenees breed
burns through the years: he's nine.

My body hints its limits: a clutch in the chest,
a groan down the left arm. I've cindered
hours with cigarettes and milder insanities.
Neither of us grudge the length or lack:
we'll cycle our ashes through a young tree.

With the influx of summer deviants joining, I feel we've certainly found in Torby-ADK a diamond in the rough! Despite only being here a few months, the poetry on this gallery has impressed me. I particularly liked Starfish Love , and hope this is a sign of greater things to come from this writer!

She reminds the reader that every word is precious and must be chosen as though it were precious, fragile porcelain that will break if not found possessing the perfect diction, connotation, resonance, and sonority.
