FirstsI had sex
for the first time
on a Sunday
when
October air
ate away the blinds
and snake-lines of light
pressed in
at undone corners.
I remember less of you,
and more of me,
cocooned
in yellow sheets
how you kept mumbling
questions and I
lay there,
still.
The prodding,
the jostle,
are so much less vivid
than the sense
that I was shedding
skin
becoming something,
tighter,
slimmer,
more stream-lined.
So that later
in the bathroom,
I saw myself,
the mirror
twisting my hipbones
into
shelves that I could
rest my elbows on.
I was nineteen
then,
so you,
two times my weight,
welding my bones
into yours,
made
Firsts by ejectionletter
This is probably the most tasteful, realistic
and universal sex poem I have ever encountered.
ejectionletter makes no effort to conceal the
subject, but presents it in a way that is light and
easy to digest. Though describing the act itself,
the emotions are melded together nicely

Rotten apples by JenniferCrane
This poem drapes a dark mood over the scene
with deeply etched and gorgeous lines, while a bleak
message surfaces like a magic 8 ball answer regarding
humanity.

polish.you're cracking apart
all of my bones
thinking that i've hidden
the love that you think
you deserve from me
somewhere you can't
steal it easily.
you've got your greedy
fingers squeezing
my choking heart
while you scrub it
with an old dishcloth
polsihing it so at least
it looks useful.
my toes are curled
and goosebumps erupt
and you continue to pick
me apart searching for
something that once
might have existed but
you destroyed by yourself.

This poem is full of great imagery and has a
sound concept. I love the idea of this very physical
search for love and where it may be hidden.

"Shakily" by Zcreative
The intriguing point of this letter is in
the curious and ambigous writer 'the editor'.
Combined with the opening phrase and continued
images of confusion and self-doubt, it illustrates
a very interesting representation of personal examination.

The Carpenter and the Lady
by cyranosdemet
This short story roped me in immediately and
held my attention all the way through to the nice
little twist at the end.
